Navajo Nation Voter Registration

Voter Registration

The National Indian Youth Council, Inc., (NIYC) and its office locations provide voter registration services to the tribal members of the Navajo Nation.

To register as a voter for the Navajo Nation, please be sure to bring the following:

  • Driver’s License or State-Issued Identification Card
  • Certificate of Indian Blood or Tribal Enrollment/Family Card
  • Social Security Card

Upon completion, a Temporary Navajo Nation Voting Card will be issued.  This card can be used for tribal scholarship purposes.  An Official Navajo Nation Voting Card will be mailed to you within the next 45-days or so.

Please be sure to VOTE in future tribal elections.  Failing to do so, can cause your voting status to be purged.  Once purged, you are no longer considered an active voter and must be re-register.
